Happy Saturday, friends! Another weekend is upon us and we are ready for some adventures. Unfortunately, the weather is calling for some scattered thunderstorms today and tomorrow, which means we'll be spending some time storm dodging while in the midst of some weekend adventuring.

It looks like we'll have a few good hours of adventuring this morning since the storms aren't predicted to start until about 1pm. Obviously, we'll want to spend as much of that time outdoors. Last weekend we made it to Gillette Castle and Chapman Falls and enjoyed some short hikes. Today we'll be heading somewhere a little closer to home, but are having a hard time deciding between Hubbard Park, Black Rock State Park, and Whittemore Glen State Park and Scenic Reserve.

Once the rain comes, I don't want the fun to end. We'll have to figure out a few indoor things to do today too. We did sign the girls up for the Kids Bowl Free program again this year so we'll likely take advantage and let them bowl their 2 free games today. After that, we'll be on the hunt for another adventure, and maybe a late lunch.
