To be fair we all became moms because of the men that are in our lives. I read something recently that was a message to children being fresh to their mom, it stated that one should be careful with the words they choose because your mom has lived in this world without you, but you have never lived in a world without her. I found this to be so true, but realized the same can be said for dads.
It takes so much to be a parent and being a dad is so much different than being a mom. Their bond with children comes after the child is born. They love them as much as mom does, but it is a different kind of love.
I am so grateful for the men in my life that chose to stand up and be a father despite paternity, blood, and fear. You guys are the most important people today.
To my dad- Thank you for being here to support me and be my friend when I need it. Thank you for loving me, my son, my daughter, and my husband. You are the person who influenced me to know what I want for my life with another person. I found a great man.
To my husband- You are the best father a woman could ask for. You support our children, encourage our children, and work hard to provide them with the best morals and best life possible. I am so grateful to have you as my partner in this thing called life.
To my brother in laws- You both are stand-up men. M- you have been a fantastic dad to my two nieces. They are beautiful, smart, funny, and caring. I love them so much and am so happy to see the relationship you have with them.
R- you have been a fantastic dad to my two nephews. They are the epitome of you and M. They are handsome, smart, funny, and the two of them are the most amazing kids. I love them so much and am so happy to watch you be dad. Don't think I didn't see your Daddy shield yesterday when little man fussed even the smallest bit.
So ladies if you have an amazing man in your life that is the best dad you know tell me about it.
