Mother's Day is an awesome time of year for us mamas! Pampering, sleeping in, breakfast in bed, house cleaned, kids tended, laundry done, day at the spa... AND then the alarm wakes us up from our blissful dream. I'm just joking, of course. Whether that seems like only a fantasy or perhaps it's your reality, sometimes I think we could make things a little easier on dad this time of year!

You might be thinking, "Easier on dad on Mother's Day?"

YES, easier on dad. Ladies, our guys really do try hard to make us feel special this time of year but I know for a fact they also greatly appreciate a little hint in this direction or that as to what would make us happy on Mother's Day.

My lucky hubby has Mother's Day and my birthday at the very same time! I tell him every single year not to stress about some extravagant gift or expensive treat. I have all I need with him and our two precious boys. They will always be the best gift for me. 

I guess he knows me better than that because he always gives me some sweet gifts that he knows I will love and I appreciate him for it! After being married almost 15 years, you really do know someone quite well and while surprises are amazing sometimes, it's ok to just let the man know of some gift ideas!

Skincare products are always a win with this girl. I absolutely love soaps, lotions, body polishes and the like. If you are anything like me, I have to be crazy careful about what I use on my skin and always strive to find products that are natural and free from harsh ingredients.
