Mother's Day Plans

Fellow mamas, our day is almost here. I remember my first couple of Mother's Days and I had a difficult time figuring out what I wanted. I'm not a person who usually asks for much so it was a tough decision to actually do whatever I wanted and to ask what I wanted of my husband and kid(s).

I like to eat breakfast/brunch at my favorite place in a quaint little village about a half hour from us. This is a special treat for me and I order a yummy latte with my lemon ricotta pancakes or biscuits and gravy.

What else do I ask or want on Mother's Day weekend? I ask to get yardwork done. Yes, I do. We have a decent amount of land which includes a big yard, bushes, trees, other plants, and mulch.

I love to get trimming, weeding, mulching, and other yard maintenance done this weekend as I feel so much better with it done.
