I can't stop thinking about the beach. When I stop and think about what's most relaxing to me, I can think of nothing better than a walk on the beach or waking up early to catch the sunrise over the ocean. My family has been visiting the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina for nearly twenty years. We have our list of favorite North and South Carolina beaches, and Myrtle Beach is an absolute family favorite. 

There are so many wonderful and fun things to do when you're at Myrtle Beach- so much, in fact, that one could never be bored. It's a wonderful place to relax or stay busy, whichever you prefer. If you love shopping and dining out, there are tons of amazing stores, shops, and restaurants to help you get your fix. Watersports are ever-present, and there are lots of outdoor adventure opportunities from boating trips to local waterparks. There are amusement parks to catch thrills, fun houses to give you chills, and much, much more!

North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (Windy Hill)

I love a mix of relaxing on the beach, hanging by the pool, and then getting out for some shopping and catching a great meal. The kids love all of the various attractions and fun places to explore, too- we just sort of pick and choose a few things to do when we visit. There's no way we could possibly see and do everything there is to see and do in just one week in Myrtle Beach, which is why we take an annual family beach trip each season. We just wrapped up an amazing NMB beach week, and I can't wait to share where we went, what we did, and what we ate!

I'm still pretty exhausted from the trip because no one ever said traveling with kids was easy, but I'm looking forward to catching up with you all and showing you some of the best places in North Myrtle and Myrtle Beach to check out this summer!
