Weekends with the Wigglesworths- It Might Be Time for a Little Road Trip!

Happy Saturday, friends! Spring officially arrived this past Wednesday and it briefly looked like the weather would act accordingly, but today is going to be a little more like winter than spring. That's not stopping our plans for the day though. We heard some news yesterday and it's inspired us to plan a little road trip!

According to a few local news outlets- "The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association's Space Weather Prediction Center has issued a moderate geomagnetic storm watch for Saturday". In terms that the rest of us will understand, residents in the Northern United States and parts of Canada will have a chance to see the Northern Lights! Connecticut was one of the states listed as a location where one might be able to view the Aurora Borealis, so of course, we are trying to determine the ideal location to witness such a phenomenon.

We don't want to travel too far away from home since it's just a regular old 2-day weekend, but it would be pretty nice to travel a short distance to see something pretty magical on the day after our 17th wedding anniversary. Here's hoping it all works out!
