The holidays are stressful as it is; you need to products that will make them easier, in any way possible. I love putting up the Christmas tree and decorating the house, however, plugging and unplugging the lights all the time can be a real hassle. Treemote makes turning the tree lights on and off simple with the press of a single button.
Martin and Shelby Schenk came up with the idea for the Treemote after their own struggles with plugging in the tree lights. Martin had searched hardware stores for a fob that turned the lights on with a Christmas theme, but none existed. In 2014, The Schenks partnered up with Tim Kane and Sheena Pennie to make the prototypes for the Treemote.
The beginning stages found the remote as big as an iPhone and the Treemote is now significantly smaller and easy to use.
I love the idea behind Treemote which is to make turning the lights on the Christmas tree easier for everyone. I appreciate the Treemote even more because my son can turn on the lights himself by simply pressing a button.
