Top Five Reasons to Visit Ripley's Believe it or Not! Times Square

Happy Wednesday, friends! Last week, our crew got to visit Ripley's Believe it Or Not! Times Square and it was pretty wonderful. It was Matt's birthday, the girls were off from school, and we had a great time in NYC.
We've been to Times Square a few times over the last couple of years, but this was our first time at Ripley's. ONE particular exhibit drew us there, but the entire museum was fascinating.
Here are just 5 reasons (there are many more) we think you should visit!

5. This Creepy Guy!
If you don't come to Ripley's willingly, this guy will come to life and bring you there himself! Just kidding....maybe. Seriously though, as scary as this guy looks, R thought he was pretty awesome!

4. The Interactive Exhibits For Kids of All Ages

The infinity mirror was a hit!

3. One of a Kind Artwork!

2. Some Pretty Amazing Pieces of History
A baseball signed by the New York Giants 1957 Team- I had
no clue they were a New York team first!

An actual piece of the Berlin Wall! I was D's age when it came down, this was surreal for me.

D thought the Commemorative NASA Space Patches were pretty cool!

1. Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber! This is the exhibit we wanted to see the most. It is the actual lightsaber used by Luke Skywalker in "The Empire Strikes Back" film! We had to walk through much of the museum to get to it, and then we had a hard time walking away.

I'm not much of a Star Wars fan but this was a pretty amazing moment for me. I thought Matt and D might explode with excitement!

Did you know the backstory of the creation of the lightsaber?

And here's where I almost started ugly crying in the middle of Ripley's!

So, there you have it. 5 great reasons you should head on over to Ripley's Believe It or Not! Times Square. While most of the exhibits pictured above will be there indefinitely, the lightsaber is only a temporary exhibit, so be sure to visit before it leaves on November 1st!
