I can't believe I'm about to type this, but Matt and I have been, well Matt and I, for 21 years today! Our love story started the day he asked me out, October 1, 1997, and it's still going strong. We're definitely not the same kids we were back then, but he still gives me butterflies and goosebumps as if we were!

I'm not sure what we've done every year to commemorate our dating anniversary, because we started before there was social media or blogging. I am not the best at keeping photo albums or scrapbooks. All I know is that every year, since the late 1900s (gasp!), we've been mostly rocking this relationship. It's not always been easy, but it has absolutely been worth it. 

This year, it'll be a low key celebration since it's Monday. Although I do think that since it's our 21st anniversary, we should celebrate with some champagne! Too bad we aren't that fancy so it'll be beer and wine coolers for us tonight...after the girls go to bed....if we are still awake!
