I have such a hard time with sunscreen. I totally understand that I need to wear it...every day...even in the winter! But...I do not like it one bit. Maybe because I have never found one that I really liked. I was anxious to try out Block Island Organics. I was crossing my fingers and toes that I was going to like it but at the same time thinking it would be like all the others I have tried. Well, I have found a sunscreen for my face that I like and that I can wear daily. And wear it daily I have done since the first morning I used it! I can't wait to tell you about these wonderful products.
The thing that bothers me about sunscreen is how thick it is and how sticky it makes my skin feel. I don't like to still feel it on my skin hours later, which is what always seems to happen. And now that there is so many chemicals in sunscreen that aren't good for us, it's hard to know what to use. I like that Block Island Organics lists every ingredient that is used in their product and you can find the rating from the EWG. I have that app on my phone and I use it a lot to scan what my family uses and get the health ratings. Everything from Block Island Organics is Made in the USA and is vegan and never tested on animals.
I have been using this daily and I love it!
I really like the face moisturizer. I know how important it is for my face. The lotion looks thick but doesn't feel thick or heavy when you actually apply it to your face. It also does not leave my face looking white. It absorbs quickly and keeps my face feeling moisturized. And I love that I can wear it under my make up and know that I have a high sun protection on my face. I love that it’s made with only natural, organic mineral ingredients – not the chemical UV filters you’re apt to find in other, lower quality brands.
Revitalizing Night Cream
I also have started using the Revitalizing Night Cream. I am VERY bad about cleaning my face at night, but I am really trying to use this nightly. I don't think my skin has ever felt as rejuvenated and refreshed as when I've used this over the last couple of weeks. I tend to have dry skin and this product definitely does a great job moisturizing and I feel confident about putting it on my face.

ReplyDeleteSPF 30 coverage is broad spectrum which can protects skin well, and the "organic" sunscreen is the most important factor to consider for the babies.
