If I could start this post with the Star Wars theme song playing in the background, I totally would! Just imagine it, if you will. Since the newer STAR WARS films have hit theaters, my husband has been acting like a little boy on Christmas morning. His love for the STAR WARS franchise knows no bounds, and he is excitedly passing that same love for the stories to our seven-year-old-son. STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI is available today on BluRay, DVD & Digital, and like my hubby, fans everywhere are doing a big happy dance!

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI Gives Fans Family Movie Night at its Finest!
These two couldn't wait to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi at home!
We had a big family movie night when we received our copy of The Last Jedi on BluRay! Well, we actually broke the movie screening up into two nights, because we started it late, short attention spans, bedtime, and all that good stuff. We popped some popcorn, grabbed the family Porg & settled in for an action-packed adventure.
My husband saw The Last Jedi on the big screen back in December, so he knew what to expect, but that didn't stop his excitement when watching at home. He absolutely loves this installment of the Star Wars story. It's darker than the previous movies and very action-packed. Favorite characters are back as the story continues, and we follow Rey and Kylo Ren on their journies. If Skywalker is your guy, I feel for you... I really do. Hubby let me know that this movie met his expectations, if not exceeded them.
'Kylo, are you Rey's brother?' (Kidding, just sharing a snack with her BFF, Kylo Ren.)
What about the answer to the question everyone is asking?
If you're like me (and every other true or almost Star Wars fan out there), you're dying to know if Rey and Kylo Ren are brother and sister... or if Rey is Luke's daughter. There are lots of interesting fan theories out there, and unfortunately, those questions are not answered in this part of the story. Guess we'll just have to keep going to the movies to find out!
Even Baby S couldn't take her eyes off the screen during STAR WARS: The Last Jedi
Is this movie mom-approved?
Well, it just sort of depends. We decided to let our son, age seven, watch the movie in two parts with us in our own home. We don't take him to see movies that are intended for older audiences at the movie theatre. We always watch it first and then decide if we think it's appropriate for him to see or not. With a DISNEY stamp on it, it's mostly harmless, though the movie is darker than the previous movies. This one is rated PG-13. Use your judgment.
B's favorite part of the movie, you ask?
Check it out in this clip!
Want it? Get it!
WOW! That was unexpected, huh? If you haven't seen THE LAST JEDI yet, this is the perfect weekend to buy it & watch it with friends or family... over and over again! If you're a major STAR WARS fan, you probably already have your copy, but if you're looking to buy it and add it to your STAR WARS movie collection, you can purchase STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI in the MBP Amazon Shop.
