Weekends with the Wigglesworths- Shopping, School Work, and Another Library Trip

Happy Saturday! We had a pretty awesome week at Wigglesworth Manor- 2 delays (one of which was yesterday and a pretty great way to end the week), Matt was able to come home on-time on Wednesday (or what I imagine on-time should be since he's in for work every day at 5 am), and I'm just feeling pretty great in general. This weekend is going to be a busy one though and I'm kind of dreading it.

It's not like all of our to-do items are horrible. In fact, they are all rather pretty tame. The first thing on our to-do-list for today is to head to the mall. If I was still a teenager, or even in my early twenties- this errand would make me happy. Today, being in my not-so-early thirties....well, let's just say I'm a little less than thrilled. The only possible saving grace would be if we have enough time for me to stop and get my hair done, because this Mom is graying out!

My Mood When I Realize How Gray My Hair is Getting

After the mall, we have to visit the library to return the DVDs we borrowed last week. I noticed they had 2 movies that I'd really love for the girls to watch- the original "Watcher in the Woods" (we watched the remake a few months ago) and "West Side Story". The second one may be just for me. I've been obsessing over Netflix's "One Day at a Time" and I adore Rita Moreno!

Once we get the DVDs at the library, it's time to head home for D to brainstorm. She recently came up with her project for the upcoming "Invention Convention" and now she has to put in the work to develop a prototype. I'm feeling pretty anxious about this, since she doesn't want to share too much of her thought process. I'm trying my best to let her have all the control, but I don't like not knowing anything except the name of her project. Hopefully, I will be able to just stand back and keep R busy so that she is not a distraction.
