Happy Saturday! I am super excited for this weekend. The girls have the next 4 days off of school and I'm looking forward to making at least 1 of those days a full-on pajama day. Today is not the day though, because we have things to do before we get hit with the snow storm that's in our forecast for tonight.
School Work
D's "Invention Convention" project is due at the end of the month, so today we'll be double checking her supply list to make sure that she has all of the supplies she needs to put it together. Hopefully, if she is missing anything, it'll be something easy to find at a local hardware store. I'm excited to watch (and help) her as she makes her idea a reality. I think she came up with something pretty clever, based on her own interests, and even after 10 years of being her Mom, the way her mind works fascinates me.
Distracting the Younger Sibling
R loves her big sister so much, so she'll probably want to spend as much time as possible "helping" with her invention. My goal is to let her help as much as we can, before distracting her with her own assignment.
