This stream might not look like much to you, but when I see it, I picture my family's future.

We are currently in the process of buying our first home. If you have not been through this experience- Spoiler alert! House hunting is not the exciting and fun process they show you on HGTV! Thankfully, after many exhausting months, we finally found "the one".

Part of what we love about our new home is our children will grow up surrounded by nature. The stream is just part of the lush land they will be able to explore every day. As someone who has spent my life moving from one apartment to the next; having a backyard that can be measured in acres is a totally foreign and exciting prospect. 

I spend my evenings musing about: starting a garden, building play areas, and living a life out in the country. If you had told me 5 years ago that I would choose this path- I would have had a good, long laugh! Now, I wouldn't have it any other way. 

I'm sure it will be an interesting adventure full of joy (and some mishaps) and I can't wait to share it with all of you.
