This package from SureCall could not have come at a more perfect time.  We are in the process of moving.  Our new home is further outside of the city limits than we are now.  It's a couple of miles form my parents home and I know how much they and I when I am there struggle with a cell phone signal.  It's not that big a deal for them because they have a land line so they don't use their cell phones at home often.  They aren't texting parents.  The first day we walked through our new home my husband and I both commented on our cell phone signal.  I figured it was something I would deal with a little later.  Well, a little later has come and so has SureCall.

We have not moved into our new home yet, but I have been working over there every evening this past week.  On Tuesday, there was a package on the front porch.  I brought it in but did not open it because I was on a carpet cleaning frenzy!  My cell phone rings about 30 minutes into my cleaning and it is my Dad.  I could barely hear him and was walking all over trying to get a signal so I could hear what he was telling me.  I finally had to go outside and was able to hear him say that he and my mom had been in car accident.  I wasn't able to understand the exact address of where it was but heard the road name so I knew I could find it.  I also was not able to understand if they were OK.  I was hearing about every 3rd word or so that he was saying.  I finally said I was on my way and hung up, hoping that he had heard me.  This was definitely not a time to not have a strong signal.  On a side note, my parents are OK.  My mom has some broken ribs and my dad is very sore, but we are thankful it was not as bad as it could have been.

On Saturday, I was determined to finish up my carpet cleaning.  But I sat down to open this package that had arrived the day before first and it was SureCall.  I could not wait to get it connected and see if it worked.

This was so super easy to set up.  I didn't even need the directions because I was able to tell what to do by the pictures on the box.  When I got it all connected, the booster was flashing some lights and my signal had not changed, so I did have to read the enclosed directions to find out what the lights meant.  Turns out, I did not have the antenna placed far enough away from the booster.  It has to be a minimum of 30 feet away.  This was easy to do with the 50 foot cord that was included.  I put the antenna in the very far corner of my bedroom and left the booster in the window on the other side of the house.  As soon as I had them placed this far apart and plugged in, my phone immediately jumped from one bar to three bars.  I immediately called my mom to test it out and it was very clear and I could hear every word.  I am so overjoyed to have the SureCall in our new home.  My dad is ordering one for their home also.

If you have problems with bad cell phone reception or dropped calls, you definitely want to check out SureCall.  Some calls are way to important not to hear.  I am recommending SureCall to all my family and friends.
