Help Your Guy Streamline His Look with the Headliner Combo by Andis + #Giveaway #MBPFallFash17

Thank you to Andis for providing me with product in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts are my own.

When I think about personal beauty, my mind immediately goes to what it takes for me to beautify myself each morning. I rely on some pretty amazing styling tools that do the hard work for me, so all I have to do is scrunch my hair, spritz it and go, or I'll use my favorite hair dryer, and straightener for a few minutes, and be on my way to the next thing on my list (which is makeup). Having quality styling tools makes all the difference in my daily beauty routine, and why should it be any different for guys? They may not spend as much time on their hair as we ladies do, but most guys do like to keep their hair and facial hair looking nice.

Andis knows style and beauty, and they've been in the game for over 90 years! My favorite hair dryer of all time just happens to be made by Andis. I've had it for at least six years, and don't want to have to go without it. Andis produces salon quality hair and beauty tools that you can use right at home. From hair dryers to hair clippers and trimmers, they truly have it all, and enjoy making their products available to the consumer.

The Headliner Combo At-Home Clipper and Trimmer Set by Andis

I've been cutting my husband's hair at home since we got married. If you think about the fact that most guys get their hair cut every 2-3 weeks, cutting your man's hair at home can save hundreds of dollars a year! We've gone through two sets of clippers and trimmers in the past 10 years. Some we've liked more than others. We were excited to give the Headliner Combo by Andis a try for Sacha's latest haircut.

The Headliner Combo comes with everything you see here & more!

This 27-piece haircutting set is fantastic! Everything comes packaged in a soft travel and storage case, so you can easily take it with you wherever you may need to. Got my Andis clippers and tools out and we're ready to go!

Here's a look at the 'before' haircut.

We usually reserve Saturday mornings for haircuts at home. My husband was in need of a trim before we had some family photos made, so it was the perfect opportunity to give the Andis clippers a try. Hubby easily attached the number for the clipper attachment he wanted and handed the clippers over to me. Right off the bat, I noticed that the clippers weren't obnoxiously loud, and weren't buzzing and vibrating so hard that I felt like I didn't have good control over the clippers.

As I was cutting Sacha's hair, the process went very quickly and smoothly. Clippers that I've used in the past were okay, but I always had to go back over spots, and I didn't have to do that with the Andis clippers... which saved me time! In about five minutes, Sacha's hair was trimmed with just the clippers. I used the trimmers to edge around the bottom and sides, and around the ears. I scissor cut the sideburns, as I always do. The scissors actually cut! It's so nice to finally have a pair of scissors that cut well. The combs were helpful as I trimmed some of those longer hairs.

After the haircut, during our photo session- so much cleaner!

After we were all finished with the haircut, Sacha was very pleased with the look we were able to achieve with the Andis clippers and trimmer. I loved how easy they were to use. I cleaned the clippers and trimmer with the brush that came with the set, and then we oiled the blades. Sacha also used the trimmers to trim up his beard and loved the precision.

Hubby's haircut turned out great, and I was so pleased with how well the Andis clipper and trimmer worked for us. Now that we have an even better set of clippers, we'll never have to worry about waiting in line for a haircut on a Saturday morning again. Now if only I could convince my son to let me cut his hair this way- we'd save even more money! I'll keep working on him.
