One of my favorite memories is from when Ethan was 4 and we took him trick or treating. In his favorite hero costume, Buzz Light Year, we took to walking to our neighbors and partaking in October's most beloved day.  

Ethan did great with all the costumes and using manners when trick or treating.  Towards the end of our walk we stopped at one house that will forever change his take on trick or treating.  On the front porch was a man in costume with a mask on his hand that he was using as a puppet.  Ethan must have gotten spooked because he threw his candy bag at the man and took off running.  How horrible is it that I was laughing so hard that I couldn't catch up for a minute?  He has gone trick or treating once since.
