NEW YORK - July 6, 2017 - For the first time ever, episodes of Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will arrive on DVD two months before their television debut in Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady, hitting shelves September 12. This clock-stopping and time-hopping special is sure to be an instant favorite among modern day fans as well as superfans of the original 1980's series.

This thrilling addition to the Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DVD franchise features four time-bending episodes that tests the Turtles both mentally and physically as they continue, as always, to fight for justice and protect their city. Also available exclusively to this DVD is an animated music video featuring the Turtles rocking out to the song "Ice Cream Kitty," which was written and performed by Greg Cipes (voice of Michelangelo) and DJ Hymn.

Dimensions collide in this one-of-a-kind Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles special, when '80s Shredder and Krang transport themselves to present-day New York. There they team up with Bebop and Rocksteady for the ultimate throwback throw-down against the Turtles. This four-episode collection not only brings back classic and villainous faces, but also takes fans back to where it all began - with a newly mutated Splinter on the run while protecting four baby mutant turtles.

Produced by Nickelodeon Home Entertainment and distributed by Paramount Home Media Distribution, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady will be available on DVD September 12, for the suggested retail price of $21.99.

Our Thoughts...

The TMNT's are back in this all new collection of episodes from Nickelodeon's hit show. My son is obsessed with TMNT, and really likes this show. We don't get cable anymore, and only stream favorite shows. Luckily, we can watch some of our favorite Nick shows on Hulu, like TMNT. B was excited to add this DVD to his TMNT DVD collection. Every series needs a few good bad guys, and Bebop & Rocksteady and definitely bad mutants! They are B's favorite bad guy duo on the show, and he enjoyed seeing the turtles kick their tails in these action-packed episodes.

As with other Nick shows, I do closely monitor the language (not that it's bad, some of it's just not what I deem appropriate for a six-year-old), and every now and then, some of the mutants and situations can be a bit scary. If the show does take a scary turn, we just fastforward to a tame part. TMNT is a favorite and it's not going anywhere anytime soon.
