Ever find yourself stressed out about upcoming changes? D just started fifth grade, but there are times that I find myself thinking ahead and ever so slightly panicking about the changes that will come with sixth grade.
The other day, while we were at the soccer field, I got distracted by the view. It's breathtaking the way that it is. I love the green of the trees against the blue (and white) of the sky, but I found myself daydreaming about how great it will look once the leaves completely turn to the reds, oranges, and yellows of fall.
In hindsight, it was a great reminder to appreciate what is and to be open to change, because change can be a beautiful thing.
