Happy Saturday! This is our last weekend of summer vacation and the girls will be starting school on Monday! As much as I am dreading the end of summer, I am kind of looking forward to the routine that will come along with it. I need structure as much as the kids do!
Today is going to involve a bit of running around. Both D and R have soccer practice today, at completely different times. We'll be at the soccer field this morning and then we'll head back again later this afternoon. I like that they won't have practice at the same time, but the long break in between has got me feeling a bit off. The good news is, all that time in between practices will allow us to run a few last minute back to school errands. I'm pretty grateful for that.
|D's playing for her third year this year!|
|R is enjoying her first year as a soccer player!|
Tomorrow, we are hoping to visit the Railroad Museum of New England. The girls participated in a reading program through our library, and both got rewarded with a free train ride! We love the RMNE, we often visit during the holiday season for the train rides with Santa and we always have such a great time. I'm sure tomorrow's train ride will be just as magical!
Hope you enjoy your weekend! For those of you with kiddos heading back to school (and those that have already gone back, will be going back soon, or will be attending for the first time this year) I wish you a happy and successful school year!
