Happy Saturday and July 1st! This weekend is going to be a fun one. We are FINALLY celebrating R's 5th birthday! She turned 5 back in April, but we held off having her party then because her actual birthday was during spring break and we also wanted to make sure her grandparents were here to celebrate with us. 

We opted to go to Danbury Duckpin Lanes because we had her party there last year and we all had a great time. It also helps that they offer the best rates for party room rentals! R has been asking to go bowling for at least a month, and even though we are registered for the Kids Bowl Free program, our local alley is not a duckpin alley. 

After all of the excitement today, there will be some more excitement tomorrow. Our town is doing their fireworks display and we just have to walk down the road to watch! We love watching fireworks, but being able to watch them so close to home makes us love them even more.
