What does an Act of Kindness look like to you? It can take on many forms- helping a neighbor with their groceries, or mowing the lawn of an elderly friend or relative, taking a meal to someone facing a hard time in their life, or maybe even paying for a stranger's meal in a restaurant you love to visit. Sometimes acts of kindness are wrapped up in love by people you know.

I only get to see my sister once or twice a year. The distance between Oklahoma and North Carolina is pretty far, and we don't get to visit as often as we'd like to. My sister often goes out of her way to come home and spend time with the family. Take this weekend for instance... we were celebrating Baby S' first birthday, and my sister flew out to visit us and to be at her party. We had such a great visit, and a wonderful time celebrating this special milestone.

When was the last time you made an effort to do a kind act for someone you know- or for someone in your own family? When was the last time you made a visit to someone you love? Those kinds of acts don't go unnoticed, and they wind up helping you to make wonderful memories.
