We have decided to travel to Washington DC for a couple of reasons.  First of all, it has been on our list for a while because my husband has not been since he was a child.  Secondly, I feel like it is a great place to travel with a baby because there are a lot of things to do for free! And if an afternoon goes south in a hurry due to a nap protesting 8-month old, we don't have to feel bad, or like we wasted any money on buying tickets to whatever we have planned!

So, not having ever traveled with a baby, we would love some advice! What are the must bring essentials to make baby and momma and daddy's trip enjoyable?

I know for certain I will have my breast pump, Tula baby carrier, stroller, and diapers.  We usually cloth diaper, however I think we will use disposables for our trip. 

As you can tell, by my extensive list of 4 items, I am super prepared for this upcoming adventure! This is why I am coming to Mommy's Block Party to ask for some guidance! Any help would be much appreciated! I would also love to hear about your favorite things to do in Washington DC!
