Our Favorite Myrtle Beach Attractions #NMB

Are you itching to plan a family vacation? If you are, I feel you... I really do. The winter time always has me hankering for a spring or summer trip with my loved ones. I am fortunate in that I have flex time for travel. My husband just started teaching college courses, so his schedule lines up with the two different colleges he teaches adjunct at. College breaks don't always line up with my son's school breaks. He goes to a private Christian school, and their breaks don't always line up with the public school system breaks, so trying to plan family trips during the school year can be a challenge.

One of the givens for our family, is taking a winter trip to North Myrtle Beach, SC after Christmas each year. My parents own a time share, and they are so generous in planning a week away so that we can all spend time together. Myrtle Beach is a top family destination for vacations in the US. We live about 3 1/2 hours from North Myrtle Beach, so it's an easy trip for us. Vacationing in the winter time definitely has its perks... the weather is usually still mild, there are far less people at the popular attractions, and you can walk right into just about any restaurant, any time of the day.

We always enjoy down time when we're at the beach, but having an active six year old boy, leads me to planning lots of things for our family to do. I hate for him to sit around playing video games at the beach cottage all day. There are so many awesome and fun things to do in North Myrtle and Myrtle Beach

Here are a few of our favorites...
