A Delicious Holiday Treat: Nocciolata by Rigoni di Asiago #MBPHGG16

Thank you to our friends, Kara and Danielle, at Crier Communications for sending a sample of Nocciolata, free of charge for my honest review.  All thoughts are my own.

It seems you cannot go to any cooking sites, cooking shows, or even cookbooks without seeing a recipe using Nutella.  Personally, I do not like the smell or taste of Nutella, but my husband loves it.  When I was given the opportunity to review Nocciolata, I was concerned about giving a review on a product I would not taste myself.  I decided the best way to give my honest review was to just try it and see what happens.  I was pleasantly surprised that the taste is nothing like Nutella.  Nocciolata, tastes like a smooth chocolate frosting.  It is thick, but so creamy and better yet no strong scent of hazelnut.  There is a hint of the taste, but not as overwhelming as I anticipated.  To be honest, I loved it.
Not only did I get to try it, but I also received this cute little recipe book to try out recipes my family and friends can enjoy.  Not only is it dairy free, but it also is a certified vegan alternative.
Nocciolata is free of GMOs, preservatives, colors, and artificial sweetener.  How can you go wrong?

I recommend this product as an alternative to chocolate syrup on your ice cream sundae, your new way of making hot cocoa, and of course as a spread on a bagel.

"Whether you are vegan or lactose intolerant or do not eat dairy due to allergies, health reasons, religious reasons, or environmental reasons," says Rigoni di Asiago C.E.O. and President Andrea Rigoni, “you, too, can enjoy the delicious combination of hazelnut and chocolate in our latest spread.”
