My kids love to check out the hot holiday toys when we hit the local toy stores. I have to admit that I am sometime overwhelmed in stores like Toys R Us, because there are just so many toys, and so many different brands. We don't go down every toy aisle (we'd be there all day if we did), but we always make sure we take a trip down the Playmobil toy aisle. My hubby and I are big fans of Playmobil toys, and so is B!

We were beyond excited to receive the Playmobil Space Rocket with Launch Site set!
B loves space. His school had a book fair back in September, and all of the books that he wrote down on his wish list were about space. He loves to play astronauts, so when we opened up the box containing this awesome play set, he was over the moon excited!

B was incredibly eager to put this set together!
The Playmobil Space Rocket with Launch Site Set is one to write home about! This exciting set features lots of bells and whistles. It also has tons of pieces. Since I was home with both kiddos when we opened up the package, I was a little overwhelmed by all of the pieces.The set did include a handy instruction book for putting the set together. I advised B that we should wait until daddy was home so he could help put the set together, uninterrupted. Daddy was happy to help, and was excited, too- he thought this was a really cool play set!
It took about 30 minutes for daddy and B to put this set together. Like I said, there were lots of little pieces that had to be put together.
Once the assembly was complete, it looked amazing!
The Space Rocket with Launch Site set is so cool, and it comes with all sorts of fun things! It's a very tall toy, and B likes to play with it on his play table, so he can stand beside it and reach it. The launch site set comes with two figures, a robot, and a satellite. The site features a control room, and a huge rocket!
This fun little robot is a hoot to play with! He has a lot of wheels and rolls around when you push him manually.
The satellite toy is cool, too! It reflects the light in B's room!

This set comes with a large rocket that actually lights up underneath, so it looks like it's blasting off! Plus- it includes a countdown!
This is such a well-made toy. It really gives kids the ability to use their imaginations and just play, play, play. I love that Playmobil sets can be combined. You can use different sets to create a town, or play with them individually. B also has some other Playmobil sets that he really likes, but I think he likes this one best of all! I don't blame him- it's pretty awesome!
The Space Rocket with Launch Site by Playmobil would make the perfect holiday gift for a child in your life who loves imaginative play or loves rockets/space/astronauts!
There are two coordinating sets sold separately- the City Action Satellite Meteoroid Laser, and the City Action Space Shuttle. I am definitely thinking about adding on to B's Playmobil experience with one of these sets for Christmas.
