Today is the Day #FitnessFriday

Alright, we all have excuses

  • I'm tired
  • I don't have time
  • House work needs to be done
  • My kids need my attention
  • Our schedule is too crazy

Yes, yes. I've used all of these excuses to not work out, too. However, no excuse is valid unless you physically cannot exercise. I've begun the journey again to exercise at least 5 times a week. I go to zumba on Mondays so that's easy for me, but the rest of the week I plan to use weights, do pilates or yoga, or get on our elliptical. I've even created a calendar online to track so I can hold myself accountable. I'm also keeping track of my fruit and vegetable intake since I know I'm not always eating enough of the healthy stuff. 

Now, I work with incentives the best. Of course food would be counter all my hard work. My husband was lovely enough to buy me a gift certificate for a local boutique to shop since I am in need of some new clothes (postpartum body, anyone?). I plan to exercise at least for 3 weeks and if I can stick to my plan, I'm going to go shopping and buy a few new pieces for my wardrobe. 

What do you do for exercise? Do you use incentives? I'm always looking for others' motivation.
