The past couple of weeks have been pretty busy for me and Hendrix. Yesterday was his party (it went very well and he had fun) and of course I planned to get too much done beforehand. 

In our running around, sometimes Hendrix falls asleep in the car. Usually this works out to take a nap when we get home. On this particular day, we had to make a quick stop at Walmart before going home. Hendrix was asleep in the car, stayed asleep when I put him in the cart and all the way through our shopping trip, and moving him back into the car. 

Along with the "aww" glances and faces I saw, people in Walmart were so kind to hand me items I needed off the shelf or out of the cooler. Hendrix was so asleep, he kept leaning to the side so I eventually had to use one hand to keep him upright. These kind strangers made my shopping trip so much easier. 

Motherhood is something that connects us and we need to help those around us. Instead of being judgmental or being annoyed with the mom with the screaming kid, offer a hand or a smile if you can. Be kind to those around you as we are all either going through something similar or have experienced it. 

Be a bright spot in someone's day and it will come back around.
