Here is something I have been having a hard time keeping up with this year. It's not that I'm unkind, but rather that my acts are not always so random. I am not even entirely sure why the word random needs to be a part of this "challenge" at all.
An act of kindness could be absolutely anything, from paying for the coffee of the next person in the Dunkin' Donuts line or helping someone reach something on the store shelf. My favorite ways of being kind are usually:
- Holding the door for the person behind me
- Letting someone cut into traffic (it's somewhat a rarity around here)
-Bringing extra snacks and drinks to share at the soccer game (just in case)
-Letting someone who has less groceries than I do, go in front of me in line
-Putting an extra quarter in a shopping cart at Aldi (or leaving my cart aside after I've packed my groceries in the car) for someone who may have forgotten their quarter.
