Over the years I have tried many different styles of toothbrushes, and I have noticed something- the end result is usually the same. My teeth feel clean enough and I go on with my day... No big deal, right? Well my friends, that's no longer the case!

Welcome the new 360 degree toothbrush! Compac Industries Inc. brings us a truly innovative line of toothbrushes developed in the Osaka University Dental Hospital of Japan. What makes these brushes different is the bristles, each one has over 10,000 micro fine bristles- that's 10 times more than the average toothbrush! The bristles are arranged in a circle around the brush instead the typical rows. This design offers a solution for a cleaner mouth, tongue, and gums without toothpaste! The Baby Buddy line offers tooth and gum care products for kids 0-12 years of age, and the HartFelt line is for 13 years and up.

What initially caught my eye was the claim that you don't need toothpaste. I'm always up for a more simplified morning/ bedtime routine, and N hates toothpaste (even the kid kind!). Compac sent us two HartFelt 360 toothbrushes, for me and Ray, and two Baby Buddy Step 2 toothbrushes. Since the Step 2 360 brushes are for ages 2-12, they are perfect for N. We couldn't wait to try them!

Ray beat me in the race to the bathroom sink, when he emerged he exclaimed, "Yes! This is good". That means a lot coming from him, he's a hard sell. I left him with the girls so I could brush my teeth.

It took me about 20 seconds to get used to the feel of the HartFelt brush, but then it became intuitive. Even though the bristles go around the entire head, they don't go very far down the handle. The unique design makes it so you can scrub different areas of your mouth simultaneously, AND concentrate more on hard to reach areas. I felt like I was polishing my teeth. When I was done, my teeth felt professionally cleaned!

The more I use my new toothbrush, the more I love it. My dental health has already improved! My gums feel less sensitive, my breath is fresher, and my teeth feel sparkling clean for hours after brushing- WITHOUT TOOTHPASTE! It amazes me.

Maybe best of all, N loves her Baby Buddy Step 2 toothbrush! She no longer puts up a fight when it's time to brush her teeth and it's easier for her to get a deep clean. It's great that she enjoys brushing her teeth at a young age, and I hope it lays the ground for good habits in the future. 

We have been using our 360 toothbrushes for over a week now, and can honestly say we'll be long-time customers. They make a toothbrush for everyone, and anyone that tries them will be hooked!
