Part of MBP's Maternity & Newborn Guide
& Easter Gift Guide

I'm not new to the world of babies, but I am certainly a newbie to the world of baby girls. As a boy mom, boy stuff has been my entire world for the past five years- including everything from dinosaurs to planes, trains, bugs and more. I have always dreamed of having a sweet little princess to love. I can honestly say that I am beyond excited to have a little girl to dress up. Though there are certainly cute options for little boys as far as clothing goes, my husband was really anti-cute when it came to dressing our son. Now that we're having a baby girl, I am on cuteness overload!

It's easy to become overwhelmed by all of the adorable clothing options that there are for baby girls. As much as I want S to be stylish and adorable, I also care about the quality of the clothing she will be wearing, and the material its made of. I want my newborn to be comfortable, and safe in what she wears, more than anything.

I was excited to learn about BabySoy, BabySoy is an eco-friendly clothing company, which was formed over a decade ago, and offers clothing made from soy from azlon (that's protein fiber extracted from leftover pulp of tofu and/or soy milk). I had never heard of clothing being produced this way, and was very interested in seeing and feeling the difference for myself.

I was able to connect with the BabySoy team, and they graciously sent me a collection of their baby girl clothing from some of their popular categories. I loved just about everything I laid eyes on when browing the BabySoy website, and had a hard time narrowing down my choices.

My items arrived neatly folded, and packaged in decorative tissue.

I couldn't wait to see what was included in this cute little bundle of goodies from BabySoy!

BabySoy has all sorts of eco-friendly infant apparel- everything you need for baby from the very beginning. Since we knew that we needed to build up a baby girl wardrobe from scratch, we needed it all- from sleepers and play clothes to socks, etc.

We received this adorable Bird Pattern Bundler with pink accents and birds.

The Bird Bundler is a super soft and dreamy gown for baby. It's long sleeved, perfect for newborn babes as a coming home gown, for use in the hospital, or for those first few days and weeks home with a new baby. The gown is cinched at the bottom, which will help to keep baby warm and snug. The opening at the bottom of the gown allows easy access for diapering.

This adorable baby gown is already washed and packed into the hospital bag for Baby S. I know that she will be comfy and warm in this soft and cozy gown. There are lots of colors/patterns available for this design, and I would love to add a few others to our collection, as I am sure they will be among some of our favorite pieces for S.

We also received this adorable Janey Baby Bubble Romper!

Janey Baby Collection is a collaboration between Babysoy and Jane Goodall Institute. Products feature whimsical drawings of endangered species discussed in Dr. Goodall's book Hope for Animals and Their World. Our bubble romper is the perfect playwear for your little girl in the spring breeze. This style uses high yarn count organic cotton + bamboo fiber to provide superior softness and silky suface. Artworks are printed with water-based ink. Proceeds from each sale benefit the Jane Goodall Institute and its programs.

This cute one-piece romper features an endangered bunny on it. It's a creamy white colored romper with light pink accents. When I saw it, I knew it would be a cute romper for springtime, especially for anyone looking for a cute Easter romper for their little one. Easter rolls around before S is due to arrive, but I am still excited to dress her in this cute romper for the spring and summer.

The romper features bubble sleeves, and a snap closure across the bottom.

Every baby needs to have a few pais of cute and comfy pants!

These comfy pants are from the BabySoy Solids collection. If you're looking for eco-friendly mix and match pieces for baby, look no further. There are so many cute options available from pants and shorts to tops and bottoms, and one-piece suits. I love the light pink color, and am excited that these soft pants will be able to be paired with simple onesies, or tops during the spring and summer. These soft pants are made from a mix of soy and organic cotton, and are available in 10 colors from newborn to 4T.

Every baby needs a cozy collection of baby socks!

These two-tone soft socks are in a 12-24 month size. They'll be great for S, next year. I love receiving baby clothing that can be worn later. If everything winds up being newborn or 3-6 months, she won't have anything left to wear in the future! These soft socks are so comfy, and I know that S will love having them on her sweet little feet once she's big enough to fit into them. She'll look so cute in the darker and lighter pinks, and they'll be perfect to protect her tootsies once she starts walking (which I don't even want to think about yet!).

The Two-Tone Socks are available in 3 different color sets, and various sizes.

I love so many of the different collections and styles available from BabySoy. Their pieces are soft, and safe for baby's often sensitive skin. B had problems with baby eczema when he was a newborn, and I wished that I'd had more education about soy and organic cotton infant apparel back then- it might have made a big difference in his skin.

I am so happy to have found BabySoy, and it's a brand that I will be recommending to my mommy friends, and family members. So many babies have skin sensitivities, and parents just don't realize that the fabrics that they are dressing their precious babes in have a lot to do with that. These soft, organic fibers are comfortable, breathable and so soft on baby's new skin!
