Warm your soul with Crock Pot Chicken Noodle Soup #tastytiptuesday

Chicken noodle is my all time favorite soup and I am a soup lover!!  I love soup anytime of the year.  We had some snow last week and I made this for dinner one night.  It is so good!  I have also taken this to a friend who was having chemo treatments and she said it just made her feel good.  You know, there is just something about chicken noodle soup that warms the soul and makes you feel good.  And being that this is made in the crock pot makes me love it even more...I love my crock pot!!  I hope you will give this a try and enjoy it as much as my family does!

I can not believe that I forgot to take the picture of it actually in the bowl when we were getting ready to eat it!  Sometimes I get so sidetracked:)

Here is the recipe...I will add in parenthesis what I changed based on what we like in my house.

Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup

4 cups chicken, cooked and chopped
1 cup diced onion (I don't like onion so left this out)
1 cup diced celery ( I only used 1/2 because I'm not a huge celery fan)
1 cup diced carrots
1/2 cup froze peas
56 oz. chicken broth
2 cans cream of chicken soup
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups cooked noodles (I put them in uncooked about 30 minutes before it would be done and they cooked in the crockpot)

Place chicken in the crockpot with onions, celery, carrots and peas.  Stir in broth and soup.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 8-9 hours.  When soup is ready, stir in noodles.

Enjoy!!
