Happy Saturday MBP readers! The weekend has finally arrived and the Wigglesworth clan is prepping for our first snowstorm of the season. Is it as weird to read that as it is for me to type it? Here we are, nearing the end of January, in Connecticut, and we are just now prepping for our first storm of this winter. 

I don't know about you, but I kind of go into some weird "survival girl" mode when I hear that snow is coming. I like to make sure all of our devices are charged, that we have enough food and water to last a few days, that we have a few flashlights and batteries, and that all of the laundry is done. I'm not really sure how that last one made the list of things I have to do before the snow hits, but it's there. 

 I know that I probably don't have to be so prepared, but it wasn't too long ago that we had a storm leave us without power for days, on my birthday, which happens to be in OCTOBER. That was a definite #AwwHellSnow moment for us and because of it, I just really like to be as prepared as possible.

With all of that said, I'm still wondering if we're really going to get an actual snowstorm, or if it will be just a dusting. I've heard reports indicating we'll get 1-3 inches, others say 3-6 inches, and still more say 6-8 inches! Whatever happens, I really hope we don't lose power. The colder it gets, the more time this Mom and her girls spend baking treats!
