I don’t know if you are aware, but I love Christmas! Okay, Christmas may be a long way away, but that doesn’t mean that I am still not in the festive spirit. For some reason, I cannot get Christmas out of my system for a good couple of weeks after the fact, which is why I am writing this post. I thought that while it is still fresh in my mind, I would list my favorite gift ideas from Christmas just passed. But not just any gifts, the weird, wonderful and unique little stocking fillers. Who knows; maybe next year they may come in handy!
Lightsaber BBQ Tongs
My husband is a bit of a BBQ fanatic, and he also loves Star Wars, so this gift was a no brainer! All they are, as you may imagine, are tongs in the shape of a lightsaber. And, to add more festive joy, they also light up, which caused chaos on Christmas Day. Obviously, they are not in season at the minute, but that doesn’t mean that he cannot use the around the house. At least he will get some use out of them until the summer rolls around.
Bubble Wrap Costume
If you're looking for unique Christmas gift ideas or something for a special someone’s birthday, this gift is amazing. This year, I got one for the kids as stocking filler because they are only cheap, and it went down a treat. They could roll around it, jump up and down, and pop up it until their heart was content. In fact, that is the most peace we have had in a long while, so I might consider getting them one every week!
If you read the blog on a regular basis, you may already know about this present. Anyway, it is well worth mentioning again because the kids could not get enough of this present. In all honesty, it is quite basic, but that did not stop the fun. The little ones scooted around for hours on the PlasmaCar, and they are still getting use out of it today. What I love about it, apart from the price, is the safety. As a parent, you are always looking for gifts that are exciting, but that are safe. This gift hits the nail right on the head because it is very safety conscious. Plus, it is low on the ground to minimize any damage.
Wine Bottle Glass
Now, I am no stranger to the odd glass of wine, which is why this gift was so impressive. Simply, this gift is a glass shaped like a bottle of wine that holds up to 750ml of the good stuff! Okay, that is a lot of wine, but you don’t have to drink it all at once. You can have as much or as little as you like, yet it is always nice to have the option!
They are just a few of my favorites from Christmas day in 2015. If you have any of your own that you would like to share, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
