Who's ready to be finished with their holiday shopping? I started early this year, and thought I would have been done by now, but somehow, items keep getting added to my list! In my house, Star Wars has been all my husband and son have wanted to talk about... for weeks on end! My husband even bought tickets in advance to see The Force Awakens, and this time next week, he'll be happily sitting in a theater, watching it with his best friend. Hubs mentioned a while back that this is going to be a Star Wars Christmas, since he and our son are so into Star Wars!
It's true- Star Wars is everywhere! My son is equally excited by all of the cool Star Wars products and clothing we've been seeing. We recently went to one of our favorite retail stores, Kohl's, for a true Star Wars Christmas shopping experience! B knew that there would be tons of Star Wars products all over the store, so he helped me scout them out.
Our local Kohl's store had tons of Star Wars displays, filled with toys, puzzles, games, and more!
The Star Wars toys are every little Jedi's dream! From battleships and lightsabers to action figures, and play sets, Kohl's has it all! Products will of course differ from store to store, but our store had a great selection! B was super interested in a huge Death Star Hot Wheels set that we saw. I have to admit, it looked pretty awesome. Kohl's also had a whole bunch of the Playskool Gallactic Heroes sets available- some were Kohl's exclusives, which means that they are not available anywhere else.
I found these awesome lightsaber BBQ tongs in with some of the Star Wars products! My husband would think it so funny if I got these for him... I almost did!
B found a huge Darth Vader head, and begged me to get it for him. Sorry dude, Santa is in charge of bringing the presents.

Our Kohl's is so clean and well organized. It was easy for me to find all of the items I was looking for. There were Star Wars displays in just about every department. Oh yeah, that's how big Star Wars is this Christmas! I was able to find great deals on Star Wars tees and slippers for my hubby, a new Darth Vader ornament, a travel coffee mug, and some cool stocking stuffers and gifts!
Total Saved- $90.49!
Here's what I love about shopping at Kohl's... the sales and the coupons! Most all of the Star Wars merch was on sale for 10-15% off, which was awesome! The ornaments were 50% off. The tee shirts, which were normally $20.00/each, were on sale- 2/$20.00. The slippers I bought, normally $40.00/each, on sale for $19.00... plus, I had a 20% off coupon, which I was able to use on top of the sale prices. I expected to spend around $100.00, and I wound up only spending $73.26! I saved about $17.00 with the 20% off coupon, and saved in total $90.49! Plus, since I spent $50.00, I earned $10.00 Kohl's Cash, which I can use in store or online, beginning December 26th.
I love being able to shop at Kohl's and earn rewards!
I know you want to check out the purchases I made it home with, after a fun time shopping at Kohl's. I think I was there with my son for about 90 minutes, We had to check out ALL of the Star Wars stuff... some of it, more than once!

First up, Darth Vader Slippers (for adults!).
I had been searching high and low for a pair of Star Wars slippers for my husband. We bought a pair for B, earlier on, and as we bought them, he said, 'I wish they made these for grown ups. I want a pair.' Thank you, Kohl's for hearing his wish, and carrying these awesome slippers. These are huge, and I just had to try them on and take a goofy photo with them on my feet.
I can hear him now... 'Sacha, I am your slippers!'
Ha, ha! He's going to love these, slippers, and I cannot wait to get a Christmas morning photo of Sacha and B wearing their Darth Vader slippers together! It's going to be so much fun!
Darth Vader Travel Mug
I actually spotted this travel mug in store a few weeks ago, and even took a picture of it, so I would remember to go back and buy it. Hubby has been complaining about not having a travel mug. He's not a coffee drinker, but sometimes he loves to take hot chocolate on the go. When I saw this Star Wars Travel Mug at Kohl's, I just about fell over. I couldn't buy it the day I saw it, because hubby and I were in store together, but I just knew that I had to get it for him. He's going to be so surprised, and he'll have a cool new mug to keeps his beverages warm this winter! It's stainless steel, which he'll love, and it has a tight lid, so he won't have to worry about spills.
The Hero Masher Toys are cool- you can take them apart, and then interchange their body parts with other Hero Mashers. B is going to love taking this guy apart, and then putting him back together again- or mixing him up with other characters.
This Darth Vader figure from Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi by Hasbro features common connection points, allowing you to detach the head, arms and legs, then reconnect them where you want.

Star Wars Hot Wheels!
I love that Star Wars has products for just about all of B's favorite toy brands! Hot Wheels were high up on his Christmas list, and I couldn't pass up a couple of new cars for his stocking. There were tons of different Star Wars Hot Wheel Play Sets and Cars. I am one of those moms who can quickly go overboard, forgetting what I have already purchased, so I stuck with the smaller Hot Wheels items for now.
Darth Vader Ornament- a must for any Star Wars fan!
Confession time- I thought I already bought and gifted a Darth Vader ornament to my hubby, but if I did, we can't find it anywhere. My son was so upset that we didn't have Darth Vader on our tree, that he insisted I buy a new ornament. Thankfully, Kohl's has tons of Star Wars themed ornaments. If you are a Hallmark ornament collector like we are, you'll love their selection. There were at least two trees on display in store, completely filled with Star Wars ornaments. All of your favorite Star Wars characters are available- even in plush ornament form, for the little ones!
I snagged one of the last in B's size of this cool Darth Vader Hoodie!
I was so excited to find a super cool Darth Vader hoodie in our Kohl's store. B loves Star Wars clothing, but our local store was out of just about every Star Wars t-shirt in his size. I was so bummed out, and was about to just give up on it, but then I saw this awesome hoodie, and knew B would love it! This hooded shirt features Darth Vader and the Death Star! Plus, like all of the other items I purchased, it was on sale! Score!

Kohl's had a huge selection of Men's T-Shirts. There was a huge table display of them- on each side. These tees are normally $20.00/each, but they were basically buy one, get one free- 2/$20.00, or $12.00/each. I couldn't pass up such a great deal, and it just made sense to get two cool tees for the price of one! Hubby is going to love wearing these tees when we're on vacation in a few weeks.
