Splish splash, every time I walk out the door, I feel like I might as well be taking a bath, it's been so wet outside this fall! I love fall, but I don't generally love the rain. I hate getting my nice shoes all ucky and mucky. Even worse, my son always winds up finding huge puddles to jump into with his sneakers on- soaking his shoes, socks, pants, etc... and leaving mommy feeling pretty frustrated. It seems as though the rain forgot all about us in the Carolinas during the summer months, and now, Mother Nature is making up for it.
Luckily, our rainy days have gotten a little brighter, thanks to ZouBaby! We haven't experienced any icy conditions yet, but I venture to say that these boots would help us to gain some traction in snow, with a little iciness. Now, I wouldn't wear them in full on icy conditions... in fact, I wouldn't even try to leave my house.
Like B's boots, mine are monogrammed, and I love them. I have been wearing them a lot lately, because we've had so much rain, and every time I wear them, folks are telling me how cute they are, and how they wish they could find some boots like them. Ta-da... fabulous boots for myself, and B from ZouBaby! Our boots were nicely wrapped and protected by plastic. We also received a boot care kit with our boots, which included a cloth and protectant.
B gave his new boots two thumbs up, and couldn't wait to try them on!
B received the children's rain boots in blue/green.
B's boots are mostly blue, with green trim. These are his favorite colors, so he was pretty stoked about these cool dude boots. On the outside of each boot, is B's monogram, and on the opposite side, is the ZouBaby logo.
The back of the boots feature a green stripe, and tabs at the top of each boot.
B is ready for whatever kind of rainy, slushy fall or wintry weather comes his way in his ZouBaby boots!

One of the things I love most about the children's rain boots from ZouBaby, is the way they fit. They are snug, and actually hold your pants in place. Also, we don't have to worry about them falling off of B's feet, which is awesome! He's accidentally stepped out of other rain boots- plop- right into puddles, which resulted in an unhappy boy and mommy. ZouBaby boots keep B's feet protected, and keep him warm and toasty. There's a fair amount of tread on the bottom, so I don't have to worry about him slipping and sliding onto the floor when we walk into a store, restaurant, etc.

I won't wear boots that are clunky or uncomfortable. I love the look of these rain boots, and I love the way they fit. The outside edges come up just a bit higher, which I love so much! My pants stay in place, tucked down inside of the boots, and they are snug fitting, but not too tight. One of the best things about them, is that they keep my feet warm, but they're not like little ovens. Since I'm pregnant right now, I can get warm pretty easily, but I haven't felt over-heated in these boots. I can wear them comfortably all day.
