What goes along better with the holidays than baking? I love holiday baking, but I have to admit- I'm not that great of a baker. I usually leave the baking to my husband, in fact. I'm not usually a fan of store-bought or pre-packaged cookie dough. We love cookies in our house, and my two cookie monsters go through them so quickly! We almost always make our cookies from scratch, but with my guys, it can be difficult to keep up with the demand. I'm also one who likes to have treats to offer to family and friends or guests when they stop by- and cookies are always a go-to.

Recently, I was introduced to Pine Valley Foods, which is a company that focuses on making delicious foods for delivery and fundraisers for schools and organizations. Pine Valley Foods has a lot of yummy foods, but one of their most popular foods is their cookie dough, which is available by the tub. I never thought I would be one to love cookie dough that comes from a tub, but I was definitely wrong about that!

I received some samples from Pine Valley Foods to try with my family.

Our two tubs of cookie dough were frozen and wrapped and shipped to us- still frozen when they arrived!

We received two tubs of cookie dough, just like this- Chocolate Chip, and Oatmeal Raisin- two of my favorites!

As I opened up the containers of cookie dough to check it out, it looked and smelled so yummy! I wanted to taste a piece of the raw cookie dough, but had to refrain since I am expecting. My son, however, snuck a taste, and said it was amazingly yummy!

We preheated our oven to 350 degrees, and allowed the cookie dough to come to room temperature, so we could easily scoop it out and place it on a cookie sheet. We baked about 12 cookies per sheet for 10-11 minutes.

Here's what the first batch of cookies looked like when they came out of the oven- soft in the middle, and golden brown around the edges. Perfection!

The true test would come from my son and my husband- the cookie aficionados. B could hardly wait to taste one of those big, golden chocolate chip cookies- which had both chocolate chips, and chocolate chunks in them!

B and my hubby absolutely loved the chocolate chip cookies! They made such sort work of them that I have had to make more (twice). They are a great little pick up snack, perfect to pack as a treat in the lunch box, etc.

We also received Oatmeal Raisin cookie dough, and these happen to be my favorite cookies.

We baked the cookies the same way, and they came out perfectly, just like the chocolate chip cookies did!

I absolutely love these cookies! They are so yummy and sweet, and are perfect to grab with a cup of coffee or tea on a chilly evening or afternoon. I have already made two batches of the oatmeal raisin cookies- baby and I are really enjoying them- maybe a little too much!
