Today is a special day. It's a birthday shared by my Gram, and my son. Looking back to five years ago, I still love this photo of my Gram holding B for the first time- on their birthday. She calls B her best birthday present ever.

It's hard to believe that my little baby turns five years old today. Where has the time gone? With another little bundle of joy on the way, I am reminded how precious life is. Every day spent with my son has been an incredible blessing. No, not all of the days have been easy- some have been downright awful... but I'll gladly take those few awful days every now and then for a lifetime of love and happiness with my curious little man.

Happy birthday to the most wonderful boy I know, who has had my heart from the moment I learned he existed- and always will.
