Hey friends!! Happy Thursday! Hope you are all doing great! Thanks for stopping by to catch up with me this week. Here's what's been going on....
What's for dinner?
To be honest, I really don't know. I do know that it is going to be something quick and easy tonight. Aiden has his 1st soccer practice tonight so we will be getting home later than usual. I love to have a crock pot meal going and ready but I forgot to take one out of my freezer to thaw:( I'm guessing we will have cheese quasadillas...I can fix these in a few minutes and they are one of Aiden's favorites. What are you having for dinner? Would love to know your quick and easy "go to" meals.
What am I reading?
I'm listening to Aiden read the Flat Stanley series. He has to read for 20 minutes every night and we sit together in the recliner. I love this time becasue as he gets older it happens less. He is so proud at how far his reading has come and I am so excited that he is becoming a confident reader. I have always loved to read and it makes my heart happy to see him begin to enjoy to read. Personally, I'm not reading anything right now. I've got lots of books that I want to read but have had a hard time finding the time for it. Are you guys reading anything good?
I told you in a Fitness Friday a couple of weeks ago that I was going to take a Beginners Running Class. I just had week 2 of class this week and it is great!! I don't know that I will ever be a runner, but right now I am a very slow jogger...and I mean turtle slow! I am working hard and running 3 days a week plus the day I go to class. There are 6 weeks of class left so I'm very excited to see where I am at that time. I have also lost 8 lbs. in the past 3 weeks. I have really been good about drinking my water everyday. I'm doing 90 ounces a day. I have never liked water too much but know that I've been drinking so much I'm starting to crave it! I'll keep you updated on my progress.
