What's for dinner?

Well, I think I told you guys that I'm trying to be really good this year and do lots of crock pot meals.  It has been a breeze so far.  We had one little mishap and it was all my husband's fault!  Haha!  He leaves for work about 10:30 so he is in charge of turning on the crock pot before he leaves.  I had a yummy chicken teriyaki ready to cook on low for 6-8 hours.  He turned it on high!!  And when I got home it that afternoon it had been cooking for almost 7 hours.  So, needless to say it was a burnt mess and we did not have that for dinner.  I was a little upset but laughing about it at the same time and being thankful that my house didn't catch on fire!

Tonight's dinner is Italian Chicken, green beans (from the Farmer's Market) and mashed potatoes.  It's a very simple crock pot meal.  I put in frozen chicken tenderloin and add an entire bottle of Italian dressing then cook on low for 6-8 hours.

I'm reading "Shift for Good" by Tory Johnson.  I'm not going to tell you much except that it's really

 good.  It's a book that celebrates life, love, family, and the simple things that really make us happy.  Look for it on the blog soon.

What I'm looking forward to....

I'm really looking forward to Labor Day weekend.  Aiden and I are heading out for one last hoorah at the beach for the weekend.  My brother is coming and bringing his boat and I have a pretty excited little guy who can't wait to go boating.  What are your plans for the Labor Day weekend?
