Squeaky Clean Fun in the Tub with #Soapsox!

Rub-a-dub-dub, we love the tub! I am so lucky that I don't have to coerce my four-year-old when it comes to bath time. B loves to play in the tub, and we make getting squeaky clean extra fun by making up silly bath time games and songs- our favorite being 'Wash Your Body, Body' to the tune of 'Rock Your Body, Body.' I know- we're ridiculous, or so my hubby says. For me, it's one of the best parts of my day, and one that I'll miss when B is too big for bath time fun.

B is definitely becoming more independent, and I leave it up to him to wash himself in the tub at this point. All he needs is a little soap, a tad bit of encouragement via song, and he's a washin' away! B still loves to play with cute bath toys and items, and we just received one of the cutest bath time pals available!

The Soapsox story: SoapSox® began when founder and CEO Ray Phillips worked as a Program Director at a residential treatment facility with children who have experienced trauma. Ray found that one of the most difficult times of the day was bath time. Children would argue, cry, and even attempt to hide to avoid taking a bath. After repeated struggles with one child who could not part with his favorite stuffed animal to bathe, Ray came up with the idea of modifying it to hold soap – the child was presented with the then modified stuffed animal and agreed to bathe. Ray continued to use this strategy over the years with children until learning that no product like it existed on the market.

Today, Soapsox offers adorable new line of plush friends that kids can take from playtime…. to bath time! It’s 2-in-1 fun with SoapSox®, the cuddly companions you can actually take in the tub! Snuggle, cuddle, and play together all day, when it’s time for your bath, bring them with you! A patent-pending soap pocket transforms lovable SoapSox® into sudsy wash cloth – just add soap and scrub. It’s the way kids want to wash!

We couldn't wait to check out Soapsox for ourselves!

B was sent his very own Soapsox pal, and was intrigued by what it was, and what it could do.

Already friends- B and his new Soapsox Ducky!

Emma the Duck is an adorable plush duck. She is super soft, and before we made our way to the tub with Emma, B was sure to get lots of cuddles in.

The Soapsox Bath Scrub Pals are great for kids of all ages (0+)!

Soapsox pals are great for 2-in-1 fun... in or out of the tub!

I was impressed by the Soapsox packaging. It was colorful and fun, and had my child engaged with the product before we even fully removed the plush from the package. The product package had a whole lot of pictures and information- a great resource for parents, which clearly explained the intent of product use.

The Soapsox pals come with an optional hang drying cord.

I found the little loop for the hang drying cord, and showed B how to string the cord through to make a loop to hang this up in the shower.

Ta-da! Easy as could be, and now we can hang Emma up to dry after we're done playing with her in the tub.

B was begging to get into the tub with Emma the duck in the middle of the afternoon!

I discovered these little pockets under Emma's wings- great for parents who want to use the plush as a cute puppet with tiny babes at bath time!

Here's the soap pouch! Simply add a bar of your child's soap to this pouch, and let them play and wash!

We have had so much fun in the tub with Emma! Not only is our Soapsox character making washing his body even more fun for B, it's making overall bath time a blast! B loves making Emma dive into the water, make suds for Duck Soup, and he even puts on water plays for me in the tub, with Emma, of course!

Pretty darn cute, right? I so wish that I'd had one of these when B was a baby! He loved the be bathed, even then, and it would have been so much fun for us to laugh and play with a cute washcloth like this! We actually received an adorable purple hippo Soapsox, as well- and B said he wanted to save it for 'Baby Hulk,' my future niece or nephew, due to arrive this August. We're so excited! I thought it was incredibly sweet of B to want to share his Soapsox with his very first cousin. We hope Aunt Rachel and Uncle Thomas will have fun using Soapsox with their sweet baby.

If you're headed to a baby shower this summer, Soapsox would make such a sweet and fun addition to your gift packages!

Soapsox is an award-winning product, and I highly recommend adding one of these plush pals to your bath time ritual! They're great for little babes, and older children, alike, and are a fabulous alternative to harsh scrubbers or bath poufs.
