Spring is definitely here, and summer is not far off! It's hard to believe how quickly spring has just sort of floated on by. As soon as spring shows itself here in NC, I am usually more than ready to ditch all things winter related when it comes to my wardrobe. I have a bit of a process when it comes to getting my closet re-set and organized for spring and summer. I go through everything, and if I didn't wear it the previous season, I usually don't hang it up in my closet to wear during the current season, and consider donating it, instead.

I quickly realized that I was really sort of lacking in the t-shirt department. I had very few casual t-shirts that could be dressed up or down. I went on a hunt for some fabulous t-shirts with a bit of flair, and what I found exceeded my expectations!

I loved what I was greeted by, underneath the tissue paper- gorgeous pops of pink, and classic black with lace trim!

I received two beautiful pieces from Filly Flair- a gorgeous dress (which you'll get to see featured in my next Filly Flair post), and a classy t-shirt with sweet modern, yet vintage details. The Write Your Story Tee is comfy and cute in classic black with delicate white stripes, and a gorgeous lace detail around the collar. I asked for a size Small, and was actually pleased to find that this tee was a tad bit loose-fitting, and very comfy.

This tee is very easy to wear, and there are so many great ways to style it. I found, however, the perfect pieces to pair it with, which were already in my closet!

I couldn't wait to wear this outfit, and actually sort of saved it for one of our recent weekends at the beach, where I knew the weather would be muggy, but it might also be slightly on the cool side. We shop a lot when we go to the beach, and I like to look cute when shopping, so this was my 'out and about at the beach' outfit, and it was perfect!

I really love the way the red shorts break up the black and white- it gives this outfit a bright and bold pop of color!

I love that the Write Your Story Tee can be dressed up or down. The tee can easily be worn with jeans, shorts, or dressed up with a skirt. I have already worn this tee several times, and have received numerous compliments on it. I love the black and white striped design, and the lace just give the tee that sweet, feminine look, wrapped in a bit of vintage style.
