Happy Earth Day, everyone! I'll keep it short and sweet today, because I am itching to get outside! There are a number of ways you can enjoy Earth Day with your family. I plan to get outside when little man gets home from school, so we can prepare his very first gardening area. B loves to watch me and help me garden, and this year, I offered him his very own garden area to tend to. We're going to let him choose his own plants, he'll have his own tools to use, etc. We can't wait to see how his little garden grows this summer!
In addition to B's garden, we'll have strawberries, herbs and veggies to grow, along with adding some new flowers to my cutting beds. We'll also be working on making our yard a welcoming place for wildlife, such as birds, bees, and butterflies. B built his own bird feeder, and made some cool binoculars, so we can watch the birds that come to our yard!
