Shaping Tomorrow- Monday Motivation

Happy Monday morning! I know, I know, Mondays are rough! I am sure many of you are reading this thinking "who says happy Monday?" I'm wondering that myself, as I type it, but I'm here to motivate you this morning and  I don't think starting off with "Oh bother, it's Monday again" would do the trick.

The past few days have been a bit chaotic for me. I have not been sleeping like I should and I have not been eating like I should. Basically I am not taking care of myself, but I know I am not alone in this. It seems a pretty common condition for most women that I know, and I'm sure many men go through the same thing.

Wish I Made This My New Year's Resolution

I'm here to encourage all of us to do something today, and every day really, that our future selves will be thankful for. It could be anything from reading more to exercising more. Learning a new skill or revisiting long lost passions.

  1. I am making sure to exercise 4 days a week and I am eating vegetables and fruits and lean meats everyday! It is important to make sure to take care of ourselves for our family. I drink a lot of filtered water!

  2. I am with you on the eating more fruits and veggies. I am using an adult portion plate to control my portions, and making better choices in what I am eating-granola with fruit or eggs for breakfast, then wheat crackers, 1 slice of cheese, sliced carrots and fruit for lunch, and then a sensible dinner. I am trying to cut down on desserts, which are my weakness! -Ondria
