Weekends with the Wigglesworths- The Weekend Before Christmas

It's hard to believe that it is already the weekend before Christmas! We are going to be pretty busy at Wigglesworth Manor this weekend because we still have some shopping to finish up, a lot of wrapping to do, and then a lot of cleaning and baking because we are hosting the annual Christmas Eve party at our house this year and I want to be well prepared!

I found this awesome cookie recipe for Oatmeal White Chocolate Chip Cranberry cookies on Facebook, and we are going to be baking those today for church fellowship tomorrow. I can almost taste them, just thinking about them!

The cookies aren't the only thing we will be making. On the agenda is a 5 Minute Fudge Wreath (this is the second one I've made in less than a week, the first was for my Avon holiday party, and it was a hit!), Grandmom Elaine's "Heavenly Hash", and Aunt Ruth's Anisette Cookies. I think I just gained 10 pounds typing all that up!

I'm really excited to start really getting to the "nitty gritty" of Christmas preparations this weekend. I'm going to go listen to my new favorite Christmas song and get to work! Enjoy your weekend and Merry Christmas everyone!

Word of Warning: I Have Listened to This Version of Hallelujah Almost Daily Since the First Time I Heard It a Few Weeks Ago. I Cry Every Time So You Might Want to Grab Tissues!
