Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and that your kiddos didn't drive you too crazy from the Halloween candy sugar overload! We have boxed Halloween away, and now it's time for us to pull out our blessings tree, and add a new leaf each day, so that we can be reminded of all the things we have to be thankful for. I would encourage you to do this with your family each day during November. Just draw a large tree, color it in, tape it to the fridge, wall, or a door in your home, and each day, add a new paper leaf with a blessing written on it.
I am certainly thankful for a lot of things, and a lot of people. I am truly blessed beyond measure. One of the people I am most thankful, is my husband. This year, we will celebrate our 7th anniversary. This year has been a bit taxing on us, which has put a strain on our relationship at times, but we remain fully committed to one another. We believe that God created each of us for the other- to stand hand in hand through good times and bad. My husband is not only a wonderful man, strong in faith, with a positive outlook on life, he is my best friend, and an incredible father. He provides for us, loves us unconditionally, and never loses sight of his personal goals, as well as those for our family.
I found this image, and thought it would be a great one to post and share on this first day we mention our blessings tree. My husband's name will definitely be going on it.
I give God thanks for this special man in my life, and if you have one in yours, I hope that you will take time to do the same, each and every day.
Wishing you a wonderful start to your week!
