It feels like just a couple weekends ago I was proclaiming my excitement about fall being right around the corner. Apparently, someone forgot to tell Mother Nature and this weekend the weather will be in the low to mid 80s here in Connecticut!
Yesterday, I decided to pick Drew up early from school and bring both of the girls to the park to play and have a picnic! The weather was lovely and we had the park to ourselves for most of the time we were there. Something tells me that today there will be a rather large gathering of people at the parks, so we are debating whether or not to go. I am pretty sure we are going to go, and I am hoping that we can 1)get there before the large crowds start to gather or 2) find a park that is not so well known and has a small group of people there.

Tomorrow we will be going to church and then visiting with family. I am hoping to get home a little earlier than we usually do on Sundays because I want to be sure that we are not having to rush around to prepare for school on Monday. I like having things prepared the night before, but Sundays tend to be a little "lazy" for us once we get home and I have a hard time motivating myself to do anything.
What are your plans for this weekend? I'd love to hear all about them!
Im cherishing this last bit of warm weather. I am looking forward to doing a few fall activities with my daughter though. going to the park and having a picnic sounds like a lot of fun!
