It's that time of the year again. Packing school lunches and trying to leave your kiddos with enough healthy options, knowing that a good deal of what you pack will either come back uneaten or end up in the trash.
Drew is a pretty finicky eater. She likes what she likes and getting her to try something new is pretty difficult. I pack her lunch everyday because she told me that she does not want school lunch and I am certain that she wouldn't eat anything all day if I didn't. Thankfully, she does eat a good deal of the foods I pack, but making sure she doesn't have the same stuff everyday is a bit of a struggle. I try to rotate the 'main meal' part of her lunch and make sure there is a good combination of healthy and fun snacks for her to enjoy in her lunchbox.

The girls were a little hesitant to try any of the snacks, so Matt and I happily played the taste testers! I decided that the Sour Cream and Onion EYV chips were going to be the ones I tried first and Matt chose the Baked Mac n' Cheese Puffs. Neither of us were disappointed, and once the girls saw that we were enjoying our snacks, they dug right in. The house favorite ended up being the Baked Mac n' Cheese Puffs, which taste as good BETTER than the brands we are used to and they don't turn your hands bright orange! I ended up packing small snack bags for Drew to bring to school during the week, and they were requested almost daily. I personally really enjoyed the Sour Cream and Onion EYV chips and the Bold Buffalo Baked Fries and am looking forward to trying other flavors in the near future!
