Refresh and Replenish with BODYARMOR Superior Sports Drink #Review

Being on the go all the time definitely has its advantages and disadvantages. It seems like we're always going from one thing to the next, and in the shuffle, I wind up dehydrated. I get up, get a workout in, start working, and then get to the rest of the daily routine with the family, drinking lots of coffee, and then before I know it, it's mid-afternoon, and I haven't had a sip of water all day. I don't like drinking water- never have, even though I know I need to. Thankfully, there's a great tasting super drink that is a big step up from a traditional sports drink, which has made its way into my family's home.

BODYARMOR sent us one bottle of each flavor- and I immediately loved how bright and colorful the product packaging was.

BODYARMOR is available in six refreshing flavors- Fruit Punch, Tropical Punch, Strawberry Banana, Mixed Berry, Orange Mango, and Grape. I was excited to see that there was a variety of flavors, with nice flavor combinations. I like being able to pick up a sports drink with a name that tells me what's in it, like orange mango, which is a lot better sounding than 'blue drink,' and leaves no mystery to be solved.

We popped our BODYARMOR bottles into the fridge to get them chilled through, before we did a family taste test.

I brought out the selection of BODYARMOR drinks at lunch time, when my husband and his business partner, Matt, were over at our house, on break. They had been painting the outside of a home all morning, and I could tell that they were both wearing down, very tired. I asked the guys to help me taste test the BODYARMOR, and for them to each pick a flavor. Matt warned me that he was not a big fan of coconut water, but he was still willing to give BODYARMOR a try.

My hubby decided to try the Mixed Berry, Matt went with the Strawberry Banana, and I tried the Tropical Punch. We were all extremely impressed by the flavors we tried. We all noticed that the drink tasted like mixed fruit, with that splash of coconut water, and tasted very light, and natural. None of us felt like our teeth were going to fall out, from it being to sweet and sugary. It was a nice refreshing blend of natural flavors, and we even felt okay about letting B try a little sip. He really loved the Mixed Berry, especially, which we were glad for. We don't let our son have sports drinks very often, but when he's been sick and dehydrated, or when he's been playing super hard and running around outside, we do sometimes allow him a small cup of a sports drink.

Both Sacha and Matt are extremely picky, and love to analyze everything, so for them to say that they enjoyed BODYARMOR is a pretty big deal. Matt immediately asked me where he could buy it, because he wanted to keep some at home! I really enjoyed the yummy flavors in the Tropical Punch, and the vitamin boost in BODYARMOR is a huge plus for me, as I am pretty terrible about paying attention to taking vitamins, etc.

It's actually really refreshing to know that there's a sports drink out there that you can feel good about drinking after a workout or activity, or that you can feel good about serving to your family. If you have children who play sports, stock up on BODYARMOR! B doesn't play sports just yet, but he loves soccer, and I have a feeling that it won't be long before he's playing on a junior team.
