Getting to Know You Thursdays: Vaca, Summer Programs, and Other Stuff

Thanks for dropping by to get to know the MBP team of bloggers a little better. This week, we're catching up with MBP Founder, Ondria Witt.

Good Eats- What's For Dinner Tonight?

It's family night out- so we'll probably head to our favorite Mexican restaurant, and I'll enjoy a salad of sorts. I am trying  to eat lighter meals this week, since I have to don a bathing suit next week.

Whatcha Reading?

The White Queen, by Phillipa Gregory (I'm slowly reading this one... when I get a chance to read.)

Listening to Anything Good?

Frozen. Yup... still Frozen- and the soundtrack from The Phantom of the Opera. B loves it.

Whatcha Been Watching?

The Office on Netflix. I finally watched the finale the other evening... so now I get to back track to other episodes that I have missed. I never watched any of the episodes after 'Michael Scott' left The Office.

I Dreamed a Dream of...

I have been sleeping so soundly in my new sheets that I can't remember any dreams, if I have been having any at all. Since we got B his new bog boy bed, he gets himself out of bed in the night, if he wakes up, and just comes into our room and cuddles with us. So, yeah- right back to sleep for me.

What I'm Lovin' this Week...

We'll be heading to TN in a few days for a little mini vaca at Wilderness At the Smokies resort. We sadly realized that we have never been on a vacation- just the three of us, as we're usually always vacationing with other family members. It'll be nice for just our little family to be away for a few days on our own.

I am so Done With...

Bees! Seriously, I didn't want to do it, but we had to have our wooden fence treated for bees today. The carpenter bees were way out of hand, and keeping us from being able to enjoy our outdoor living space in our back yard. Hopefully, after a few days, they'll be gone for good.

What I'm Looking Forward to...

The summer reading program starting up at the library in a few weeks. I can't wait to get B back into a regular weekly activity. It's been crazy trying to keep him entertained and engaged all day long since our Weekday Church School season ended. There are hardly any summer classes for his age near us that don't cost a fortune, so I am thankful for the free program at our library. They have a program for adults, too- where they track their summer reading and log their hours. I might just sign up for it.

Thanks for catching up with me this week! I'd love to hear how you've been doing this week, too! Leave me a comment, if you feel like it!
